Village Podiatry Centers has provided foot and ankle healthcare to metro Atlanta for over 15 years. Realizing the need to bring podiatric care to the residents of nursing homes and other long-term care facilities, we developed the Senior Care Division.
Through this program, expert podiatric care is delivered to residents on-site by our physicians. Patients are seen in the comfort and convenience of their own rooms or in a central clinic setting through an arrangement with the facility. Appointments are scheduled in advance. Patients are seen as often as necessary to provide the best care and manage all health concerns. The same physician sees patients for each appointment to provide a continuum of care. Emergency care is always available if needed.
Village Podiatry Center’s provides medical and surgical treatment for all foot and ankle conditions, injuries and diseases which may include:
- Routine foot and ankle care
Arthritis pain- Diabetic foot care
- Fractures and dislocations
- Heel pain
- Infections
- Nail problems
- Wound care
- Therapeutic shoes and orthotics
If a patient requires surgery, our podiatric surgeons have privileges at metro Atlanta hospitals. Depending on the procedure, surgery may be performed in the hospital setting or at one of our affiliated outpatient surgical centers located in Sandy Springs or Roswell. Each of these centers is solely dedicated to foot and ankle surgery. They are state licensed and staffed by skilled nurses and anesthesiologists.
For the convenience of the facility and the patient, Village Podiatry Centers’ staff will manage all aspects of patient care and billing.
Scheduling
Appointments will be arranged in advance by the physician in coordination with the facility.
Medical Equipment
All medications, clinical supplies and medical equipment will be provided by our physicians.
Billing
Podiatric services will be paid by the insurance carriers. Village Podiatry Centers’ billing staff will submit and follow-up on all insurance claims.
