Dr. Butlin earned his doctorate at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed his Podiatric Surgical Residency training at the Cleveland Foot Clinic. Dr. Butlin was formerly in private surgical practice with Peachtree Podiatry Group in Tucker. In 2007, the practice merged with Village Podiatry Centers which is
the largest foot and ankle practice in Georgia.

Dr. Butlin has a distinguished career as an authority on foot and ankle medicine and surgery. He is a past president of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and the Georgia Podiatry Association. Dr. Butlin is a founding member of the American College of Podiatric Medical Review. He is actively involved as a national lecturer on podiatric medicine in the United States and Canada.
